Filmmaker, documentary producer, music publisher, brand strategist, and founder of Write Diamonds Media.

My filmmaking journey began in 2014, and in 2017 I formalized that vision into Atarah Jeffers Productions — a production company built on the belief that every story worth living is worth preserving.

 

Over the past decade I have built expertise across documentary, narrative, music video, and branded content, with credits that include NBCUniversal and a growing body of work that spans cultural preservation, community storytelling, and social impact.

I am currently based on Chicago's South Side — not by circumstance, but by conviction. The stories that built this city deserve to be documented with the same institutional care that built the city itself. That belief is the foundation of everything I create.

Today my work extends beyond the camera. Through Write Diamonds Media I am building a STEAM cultural media conglomerate — a production company, a faith-forward streaming platform, a live experiences division, and a nonprofit arthouse institution dedicated to documenting living legends across arts, sciences, business, and technology before those stories are lost.

 

Through AJP Brand Consulting I help entrepreneurs and small businesses build the brand foundation that makes everything they do more intentional and more effective. And through Write Diamonds Publishing — my BMI registered music publishing company — I protect and amplify the creative work of artists whose voices deserve to be heard.

 

I am a Joseph Business School graduate, a City of Chicago BACP Entrepreneur Certificate holder, and a scholarship recipient at NYU Tisch's Business of Entertainment program and USC Gould's Dealmaking for Entertainment Professionals program.

Every project I take on is a chance to bring people together, make a difference, and tell a story that outlasts the moment it was made.

The work is urgent. The stories are alive. And I intend to capture every one of them.
